Pop Art the name however was not given on the website in which this was found.
Describe the color that he utilizes. Does he use any particular color scheme?
The color utilizes not one particular color scheme yet it shows the warm colors and cool colors and other things within the portrait.
What do you notice about the artwork itself?
The artwork itself is unique and to me can not be replicated because it shows many different color schemes in only one form of artwork overall

He utilized the reds and the cool colors within this piece, this piece also reminds me of a monochromatic color scheme piece however it is not because it uses more than one color.

What do you notice about the artwork itself?
The artwork itself is somewhat a portrait and looks sketched when it actually is not sketched at all

Maximum of 72 dpi to display the images on the internet

Steve Jobs

Who is Steve Jobs?
Steve Jobs was the CEO and founder of the company known as apple.

What company was he CEO for many years?
Steve Jobs ran the company known as Apple.

What did he do for the computer industry?
He impacted the computer industry by bettering the different things that are used within it. With the I-mac he was allowed to create a computer that could not contain viruses. It also had software that allowed you to create movies and documents as well. He made it possible to connect all your products together with the I-Cloud. Steve Jobs was an amazing man.

How did this man impact the graphic design industry?
Jobs created pixel which helped better media design and with the i-mac and pages he allowed a faster way to create designs in general.

Why must designers pay close attention to how color is utilized within a composition?
Because in different cultures, different colors represent different things.

Why is the color wheel an important tool for graphic designers?
The color wheel shows designers which colors complement each other within the color
wheel.

Find an example of neutral colors utilized within a design.
Black, White, and Brown are examples. In this particular picture they are used to fill in all of the negative space in a design.
 
Briefly describe how we "see" the color of an object?
The light is reflected off the object which allows us to see what the object is.

Objects appear to be in color when they absorb or reflect colors in the visible spectrum and we see the reflected color

What is a glass prism?
Transparent triangular object that breaks white light into all the colors of the visible light spectrum
What seven colors result when white light is refracted through a prism?
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet
Describe hue?
The color itself, each different hue is a different reflected wavelength of light
When does white light occur?
all the wavelengths are reflected back to your eye
When does black light occur?
when no light is reflected to your eye.
How color is perceived depends on what?
type of light its seen with
What is a color wheel?
visual tool that shows the relationship between primary, secondary and tertiary colors.
What are primary colors? Name them?
Red, Yellow, and Blue
What are secondary colors? Name them?
When two primary colors are mixed together they make a secondary color. Orange, Green, Violet
What are tertiary colors? Name them? 
When two colors secondary and primary come together. Red-Orange,Yellow-Orange, Yellow-Green, Blue-Green, Blue-Violet, and Red-Violet.

What are neutral colors? How can they be created?
Don't show up on the color wheel, such as Blacks, Grays, Whites, and Browns.
How can a neutral color help a design?
help to put the focus or tone down colors
What are complementary colors? Name them?
Positioned opposite of each other on the color wheel. Red and Green. orange and blue. yellow and violet
What is color value?
Lightness or darkness of a hue (or color)
What is a shade?
Adding black to a hue produces a low-value color
What is a tint?
Adding white to a hue produces a high-value color
What is saturation/intensity?
Brightness of a color
What happens when you mix complementary colors together?
you change the intensity and they become duller and makes tone.
Describe color harmony?
a pleasing to the eye, and engages the viewer creates a sense of order

What is a color scheme?
harmonious color combinations, and used to create style and appeal

Describe a monochromatic color scheme?
uses tints and shades of one color, elegant and clean
Describe an analogous color scheme?
uses three colors that are adjacent to eachother on the color wheel, one color is used as a dominant color while others enrich the scheme often found in nature and pleasing on the eye

Describe a complementary color scheme?
Used to colors opposite each other on the color wheel, will draw a lot of attention works best in situations where you need high-contrast compositions
Describe a split-complementary color scheme?
uses three colors one color two adjecent to its compliment

Describe a triadic color scheme?
Uses three color wheels equally spaced around the color wheel offers a strong visual balance

What colors are considered to be warm colors?
Yellows, Oranges, Reds, Colors found in the sun.
Describe a warm color scheme?
Vivid in nature, express aggression, excitement, and danger. Strong and welcoming. Tend to appear closer don't overwhelm the design with eye catching hues.
What colors are considered to be cool colors?
Greens, Blues, and Violets

Describe a cool color scheme?
Gives an impression of calm, rarely overpowers the message of a design. Soothing in nature, Expresses passiveness comforting and nurturing appear farther away
Why is important to consider which colors are being used within a design?
Meaning of colors impact all visual communications and it is important to understand how color is used in our culture. The right color choice can send the right message and color conveys an emotional reaction.
