Review Week 5

When looking at this design it reminds me of value. This reminds me of value because of the different colors used throughout the design. It shows modest coloring which to me is very unique. That being the reason i chose this poster design.

This poster shows efficient lines to me. From what i have been taught these lines calm the mind. The coloring  grabbed my attention. Lines are there to pull the readers or consumers attention and in this design there was a great example of doing so

This poster shows watercolor textures and textures that seem to be used on banners. I chose this one in general because these specific textures catch my eye. I love the fact that they gave it a retro spin with a disco theme. This enhanced the design because instead of just having a poster that said receptions needed they had a design to convince people to further look through and into it.

Space is something that does not have a specific position or shape. I believe this movie poster is very spacious. This is because the information is not jumbled throughout the whole piece. Yet, the point of the piece is still proven. Space is shown as well as value in this as well. This enhances the design because it has your eye look in one spot and can find out everything needed to know about the piece without looking all around.

This design uses shapes. Although it looks as if a teardrop is formed a shape was apart of this process. The shape tool can change a eclipse circle into a teardrop shape which is shown in the picture above. This picture can enhance the design because the blue dot (circle) can draw someone to the design.
